The Muffinz are soulful, authentic and unapologetically live. Since their breakout double album Have You Heard? (2012), The Muffinz have been redefining South African music with rich harmonies, intricate guitar work, and a signature blend of jazz, soul, and R&B.
The band is award-winning & globally recognized, winning the Metro FM Best Group | Arts & Culture Trust award for music | Standard Bank Ovation Award | x5 SAMA nominees for Best group, Best newcomer. Album of the year.
The band has had sold-out shows around the world. Apollo Theater (NYC) | Cape Town Int’l Jazz Fest & a few global tours.
The Muffinz band is still making music, and working on their 3rd Studio Album due for release in 2026. The band will be coming to Cape Town 08th - 10th August, and performing at The Commons on Sunday the 10th August.
