A luminary of global music, Makeba's soulful voice and unwavering spirit captivated audiences worldwide, becoming a powerful symbol of resistance and hope.
We’ll be taking you on a musical journey through the life and legacy of this iconic artist, featuring a stellar band led by a rising star in the South African Jazz scene, Thandeka Dladla. The show will transport you to the heart of South Africa, celebrating Makeba's timeless classics and her enduring impact on music, culture, and social change.
Thandeka's accompanying band are no strangers to South Africa's biggest stages, performing for local legend, Mandisi Dyantyis, along with a variety of other notable artists such as Bra Herbie Tsoaeli and Judith Sephuma.
